Awards of the Tbilisi academy students at the international festival of Romualdo del Bianco foundation

In the period 24-29 November, 2009, Under patronage of Romualdo del Bianco Foundation, there was arranged an international festival “Degree and Profession” in Florence, with participation of higher institutions of 19 countries. The festival has ended with Georgian students great success: BA graduates of the Media Art Faculty - Sopio Gogoladze and Sopio Antidze have won 2 nominations from 4 ones, Grand-prize (4 000 euros) and the Medal of the President of Italy.

Due to this fact, on 15 December, there was arranged the press-conference and students-winners artworks show. Multimedia works of not only winners of the 2009- festival, but of the June- 2009 - Sopio Chkhenkeli, as well as, of 2008- festival - Shorena Otkhozoria, were presented at the festival.

In the end, Nana Iashvili-professor, Dean of the Media Art Faculty has announced the international festival-”Regional Festival Tbilisi”, that’ll be established at the Tbilisi State Academy of Art, according to the regional activities calendar of Romualdo del Bianco Foundation.
